Welcome to First Church of Christ, Scientist, Fort Bragg, California. Our church is located at 521 E Chestnut St. (corner of Corry), and is a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, located in Boston, Massachusetts.
Here is a map and directions to our church: From the intersection of Routes 1 and 20, take Route 1, Main Street, north into Fort Bragg. Turn right at Chestnut Street, a traffic signal, which has a RightAid store on the corner. Proceed up Chestnut Street about 1 mile to Corry Street. You’ll see the church on your left. Turn left on to Corry, then turn left immediately into the church parking lot.
You are warmly invited to attend our Sunday morning services with us at 10:00 a.m. where we listen to scriptural readings from the Bible and from our text book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, sing hymns and pray silently.
Our Sunday School is for young people up to the age of 20, and is held at the same time as our Sunday services.
Every Wednesday evening, we also have testimony meetings at 8 p.m. Readings are from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and are followed by testimonies of healing.
Testifiers tell about how they prayed, how effective this prayerful study was for them and the inspiration gained from their spiritual work. Relationships, physical ailments, business challenges and emotional problems can all be healed through the study of Christian Science.
Our church follows Jesus’ instruction to us all, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also: and greater works than these shall he do;” John 14:12.
